Agri-Food Technology Center – IIAFTC
The IICCI - Indo Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has launched in 2016 the Project Indo – Italian Agri-Food Technology Center – IIAFTC, aimed at encouraging and facilitating the adoption of advanced technologies in the Agriculture and Food Tech sector as per the demand of Indian progressive farmers.
The IIAFTC is serving as a common platform to promote and support in India more than 50 Italian and Indian companies active in the entire food-value chain: agricultural machinery, post-harvest technologies, food processing, packaging, cold chain and ancillary sectors.
The project is supported by Regione Emilia Romagna and executed in collaboration with FederUnacoma (Italian Agriculture Machinery Manufacturers Association), as well as a number of Italian and Indian sector associations, universities and research institutes.

As part of its Il Frutteto - The Italian Orchard in India project, the IICCI presents the Regione Emilia Romagna which is the agri-food tech region of Italy. This video highlights the Emilia Romagna region's excellence in advanced technologies in Horticulture Machinery, Post Harvesting, Storage solutions, Food Processing and Packaging Machinery along with the aims, activities, and services of the IICCI's Il Frutteto project.
