IICCI is organizing a digital round table wherein Italian and Indian experts will share their knowledge on Origin & Geographical Indications, Nutrition and Health Aspects and Awareness/Enhancement of Food Sustainability in Italian and Indian Cuisines with the very purpose to establish a first dialogue and discuss the state-of-the-art of food sustainability in Italy and India.
Traditional diet and Geographical Indications (GI) of locally sourced and low processed food enhance the sustainability of the food chain and foster healthy diets.
The aim of this webinar is increase awareness about the different relations between GI products and sustainable nutritional diets and to explore how using eco-friendly packaging or sourcing local ingredients food brands are incorporating sustainable practices in their business models and to share the importance of biodiversity and local conditions for sustainable diets through presentation and sharing knowledge with participants.
