PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN IVECO GROUP AND BLUE ENERGY MOTORS (ANSA)

A Partnership between Iveco group and Blue energy Motors (Ansa) NEW DELHI, on 12th sept - The Ambassador of Italy to India Vincenzo de Luca attended today in Pune, together with Iveco Group CEO Gerrit Marx and the President of Powertrain, Iveco Group Sylvain Blaise, at the launch of the partnership between FPT Industrial and Blu Energy Motors, represented by CEO Anirudh Bhuwalka. The companies have signed a supply agreement for the introduction on Indian roads, by the end of 2022, of the first liquefied natural gas trucks with 6.7 l FPT engines, manufactured in the Turin factory of FPT Industrial, which employs over 2600 people and specializes in this type of medium-displacement engines.

The agreement represents the first step towards a potential long-term collaboration to seize the opportunities offered by the commercial transport market in India. For Ambassador de Luca, this is "an important step in the strategic partnership between Italy and India for the energy transition, thanks to an engine that will make it possible to reduce CO2 emissions by up to 30%.
