Ritu Dalmia brings hearty Italian food with MOTODO

Ritu Dalmia's new Mumbai Italian restaurant has amazing food, an aperitivo bar and beautiful interiors going for it.

MOTODO is a portmanteau of three words—mozzarella, tomato and dough—the trifecta of ingredients for a pizza. Dalmia and Jio World Drive have partnered to create the trattoria-style dining venue in Bandra Kurla Complex.

Glass walls and an open kitchen with a view of the pizza ovens encapsulate the essence of casual eating. Next to the kitchen is an upmarket aperitivo bar. In conjunction with Bacardi India, they've created a beverage menu to delight.

The restaurant positions itself as a pizzeria, but goes above and beyond mozzarella, tomato and dough. The chef intends to focus on modest, home-cooked Italian fare from various regions of the country.

It is a must visit for Italian food in Mumbai.
